The Rogue River is our most popular family rafting adventure. Our 5-day Rogue River rafting trip explores 37 miles of the wilderness section of the Rogue.
Discover the full Rogue River rafting experience on this 5-day journey through 37 miles of its Wild & Scenic section. Perfect for those seeking a more leisurely pace, this trip begins at the Galice Resort near Merlin, Oregon, and offers extended opportunities to immerse yourself in the river’s natural beauty and excitement.
From navigating iconic rapids like Graves Creek and Blossom Bar to visiting Zane Grey’s historic fishing camp, this trip truly has something for everyone. Days are filled with exploration, including hikes to pristine side creeks and wildlife spotting along the riverbanks. A unique option for this trip is the “layover” day, where guests can relax, explore further, or participate in optional activities.
Evenings are spent at scenic riverside camps, where there’s time to unwind, enjoy a swim, or simply relax with good conversation. The adventure concludes near Agness, Oregon, with a picturesque return drive through the rugged Siskiyou Mountains.
What's it like?
Each day the guides will have coffee on between 6:30 am and 7:00 am and breakfast is served at 8:00 am. We start packing up at 9:00 am and try to be on the river by 10:00 am. Each day on the river is different and actual activities are chosen according to the general interests of the group. There are a wide variety of short hikes, swimming holes on side creeks, historic sites and places of interest to linger. You’ll also have the opportunity to move from raft to raft, relaxing in the oar raft, joining a crew in a paddle raft or going solo in an inflatable kayak. Learn more about the Types of Rafts.
