My wife Kathy and I had made two prior attempts to float the Owyhee and had been foiled by the river level each time. This year was the one and we are ecstatic over how much we enjoyed the trip. All of our pre-trip arrangements with Brian and the office went very smoothly - great to work with also. As for the trip itself, we are very pleased and would highly recommend both the Owyhee and Ouzel to anyone whom might ask. From put-in to take-out, a wonderfully first rate adventure. Having so much access to the kayaks was awesome, one of us was in one all but the first day. The guides patience and instruction and attention to safety were all much appreciated. As much as we enjoyed the floating parts of the trip, the hiking and scenery were also a big part of what we enjoyed so much. And since Kathy had just developed some new knee problems the week before, it was especially appreciated how much time and attention Amy provided to Kathy so that she could make those hikes.
